One of my reasons for going out to Walkabout Creek at the Enogerra Reservoir is to catch a sighting of the elusive Goanna.
The Goannas are very timid of people and will always get out of your way first, provided you don't do anything stupid, of course.
I respect nature and always give it space to move around naturally, I do not believe in stressing any animal out just for a photo.
So here are some shots I managed to get of this beautiful creature last Monday, this is a smaller one than what I have seen in the past, he really looks good enough to cuddle!!!
