On my last trip to Walkabout I was treated to a display of all types of Fungi growing.
On the lower level of the walk it of course receives less sunlight, from the taller trees providing constant dappled shade, the perfect environment!
I found these 4 different varieties on my walk, they made such a beautiful display amid the wet earth and moss.
While I was hiding in the bushes taking a photo of one of them, two women found me, they asked me what I had seen, then told me of more colourful ones up ahead, I was asked if I was an artist, I felt quite flattered, I mentioned that I had a passion for photography and then turning them into art works, it was a nice conversation, I had a few other conversations with other people around the trails, it's nice to connect with others and show them things that they might have ordinarily missed.
